- Is this a non-profit event?

Yes it is!  All proceeds from the Larry A. Pogofsky All Star Challenge go to the Gastro-Intestinal Research Foundation (GIRF).  Please visit GIRF at


- Where does the Larry A. Pogofsky All Star Challenge take place?

At the brand new Impact Field in Rosemont, home of the Chicago Dogs.  Go Dogs!


- What time do gates open?

Impact Field gates open at 12:30pm.  Home Run Derby is at 1:30pm and the All-Star Game starts at 2:30pm.


- How much is parking?

Only $3 per car at the official stadium parking lot.


- Can I bring food and beverage? 

Outside coolers, bottles, cans, and foods of any kind are not permitted inside Impact Field.


- What facilities will be open? 

Concessions stands complete with food and beverage catered by Professional Sports Catering, a division of Levy Restaurants, are located throughout Impact Field. First Aid offices are located behind Section 101. Guest Services offices are located outside Section 102. Lost and found, stroller check-in, etc. are located in the Guest Services office.


- What is included in the premium seat or general admission ticket price? 

Whether you buy a premium ($36) or general admission ($22) ticket, you will be able to attend the Home Run Derby at 1:30pm and the All-Star Game at 2:30pm. 


- What is included in the VIP Ticket and how many are available?

VIP tickets ($125) include premium cushioned VIP seating behind home plate AND access to the VIP only BBQ after the game where you will receive dinner, beer, soft drinks and the ability to meet most of the athletes!  Only 250 VIP tickets are available.


- Are private luxury box suites with food and beverage available?

They sure are!  Please email for more details.


- How can I get my son or daughter to participate in the kids clinic with the celebrities and coaches?

Every guest interested in attending the kids clinic must purchase a ticket to the All-Star Game.  After your game tickets are purchased, you will be offered an option to add a kids clinic ticket for your kids for an additional $60.  Please remember kids must have both a game ticket and a kids clinic to attend.


- Can you give me more details on the kids clinic including age limit, parent attendance, start time and where we meet?

The kids clinic is focused on kids 6 years old up to 13 years old.  Kids will be broken into groups by age.  The kids clinic starts at 11am and one adult may accompany each child to watch from the stands.  Adults will not be allowed on the field.  Gates will open at 10:30am for the kids clinic at gate to enter through the main gate, signs will be present to indicate where to enter. 


- Why can I not purchase a kids clinic ticket online?

Kids clinic tickets will be available online until 120 tickets have been sold.  If purchasing a kids clinic ticket is not an option online, the kids clinic is sold out.


- Can I purchase group tickets?

Absolutely.  Groups start at 16 tickets.  Please email and we will work it out.  If you want to use this as a fundraiser for a charity or school, we are happy to help!


- Which team is in which dugout?

The south side athletes (White Sox) will be on the third base side.  The northsiders (Chicago Cubs) will be on the first base side.  Most of the athletes don’t sit in the dugout, they sit on the field, so you are in the action at all times! 

- Will the athletes sign autographs?

There is no guarantee, but many of the athletes are happy to chat and sign autographs throughout the day.  Please do not ask any player to sign more than one item per person.


- Is there a refund policy or rain policy?

The Larry A. Pogofsky All Star Challenge will not be postponed prior to the scheduled start time except in extreme circumstances. All efforts will be made to play the game on the original date it is scheduled. Once the game has started event officials will determine whether the game will be delayed or postponed.  There shall be no refunds of tickets for any reason whatsoever.
